 Jefferson Hobble

Jeff has always wanted one thing, to rule the world; but if he can't have the world, he'll settle for Appaloosa Plains.  As his dreams of becoming mayor get closer, will he give up everything, including his own happiness to realize his dream?  Will he eventually fall into shadow and lose his sunshine?

Star Randall

Star is Jeff's childhood friend. They are best friends and tell each other everything...Well, almost everything. She is patient, kind, and seems to always know what the right thing to do is. Hopefully Jeff listens to her as he ventures into his adult life and political career.

Rosamund (Carter) Hobble

Ever since their freshman year of high school, Rosamund had her sights set on Jefferson Hobble. She has plotted and planned to get him to finally notice her. Will she finally succeed in luring Jeff away from Star, and just how far will she go to get and keep him?

 Peter Fellows

Peter and Jeff are as different as night and day. That's one reason they work so well together. Peter looks up to Jeff and wants to help him to become mayor one day.

Robert and Regina Carter

  

 Robert and Regina are Rosamund's parents. Jeff may take Robert up on his offer to help his political career when Jeff gets older.



Jeff's Family

Amanda Hobble

Jeff's mom and a famous retired movie composer. Her close brush with death during the birth of her last child pushed Jeff to realize his feelings for Star.

Chuck Hobble

Chuck is Jeff's dad and a horse rancher. He and Jeff's older brother take care of the ranch the family live on.

Charlie Hobble

Charlie is Jeff's older brother and is married to Star's sister, Kate. He helps take care of the ranch and tries to look out for Jeff.

Kate (Randall) Hobble

Kate is Star's older sister and Jeff's sister-in-law. She helps Amanda with the day to day chores of taking care of the ranch and looks after hers and Charlie's son, Charles.

Bridgette/Bridge (Hobble) Davila

Jeff's older sister and Charlie's twin. Bridgette doesn't live at home which is a shame since she's the only person that can set Jeff straight. Jeff and Bridge have always been close and have always been very honest with each other.

Carson Davila

Bridge's boyfriend and eventually husband. Jeff and Carson try to keep peace between Rosamund and Bridge for the year that they all live together.

Scarlett Hobble

Scarlett is Jeff's younger sister and the youngest of Amanda and Chuck's children.

 Charles Hobble

Charles is Jeff's nephew and Charlie and Kate's son.
